Biden Administration Funds Remainder of Soo Lock Project

On January 19th, the Biden Administration announced that $959 million will be made available to complete construction of the new large lock at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. The funds include $479 million from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), and $480 million from the Corps of Engineers’ FY2022 budget.
