New York’s Only Port on Lake Ontario

The first U.S. deep-water port on the Great Lakes from the St. Lawrence Seaway, The Port of Oswego is a cornerstone of New York State’s maritime infrastructure. The Port is proudly one of the most productive ports in North America. Sitting inland, the Port operates free of coastal congestion, moves nearly 120 vessels and operates year-round as an ice-free passageway.

The Port of Oswego is New York State’s only Grain Export Center on Lake Ontario, home to 14 companies that utilize its facilities for both domestic and international operations. The Port is also home to Oswego Marina, Goble Marina, the H. Lee White Marine Museum and the historic maritime district.

The First U.S. Port of Call on the Great Lakes

Sitting on the southeastern shore of Lake Ontario and on route to the interior of North America, the Port is accessible from any international port in the world.
