Sargent Docks and Terminal

Bulk Warehousing & Multimodal Logistics on the Saginaw River

Founded in 1986, Sargent Docks and Terminal is a family-owned business serving local and national customers from its facility along Michigan’s Saginaw River. For more than 30 years, its operations have grown to support the storage, handling and transportation of bulk materials.

Conveniently located off I-75, the facility connects water, rail and road transportation, with access by barge and vessel as well as rail and unit train capabilities. This multimodal location gives customers flexibility in moving materials to and from the Great Lakes region.

Sargent Docks and Terminal also supplies and handles a range of bulk materials, including gypsum, road salt, stone and aggregates. Continued investment in its facilities and partnerships is expanding capacity, strengthening bulk handling and creating new opportunities for customers and the Saginaw region.
